Yannick Dumel is a halfling blacksmith who with Jan co-runs the Sparkhammer Smithing in Zadash. As an NPC, Yannick is played by Matthew Mercer.
Description[edit | edit source]
Yannick has black hair and muscular arms. When Yannick met the Mighty Nein, he had tanned red skin and wore a leather apron and leather gloves while working.[2]
Biography[edit | edit source]
The Mighty Nein managed to get 20 gold pieces from Yannick, selling him battered metal weapons they had looted from the gnolls near Alfield, other metal scraps they recovered from the gnoll's cart, and a nice set of manacles. Jester bought a hand axe. Yannick also suggested places where the Nein can find other things of interest in the city.[3]
Yannick took on a commission from Jester to create a jewelry box, coated by a thin layer of lead. He charged 1 gold pieces and 6 silver for the commission and promised to complete this project within two days.[4]
The Mighty Nein visited the smithing again to buy twenty throwing stars for Beauregard, available for sale for 5 copper a piece.[5]
