Toby is a crab who hopes to be a familiar. He is played by Matthew Mercer.

Toby is a dark green and turquoise crab.[1] He has never been a familiar and very much hopes to become one.[2]
Biography[edit | edit source]
Toby, along with CLAPP and Joanne, was behind the Lavish Chateau when he met Sprinkle and Nugget. The group of familiars decided to head to the Open Quay to seek their fortunes.[3] Toby summoned a horse and drove the group to the outskirts of the city.[4] When their actions awoke Kestiff Drudy and he attacked the familiars, Toby pinched him in the groin and made him drop his knife, which Toby then picked up.[5] Toby was eager to have his fortune read to him by Froga Yaga.[6]
In the fight at the docks, Toby lost his claw after he cut it free when it became trapped under Fjord's falchion.[7] He began to rage, but was calmed down when CLAPP told him she'd make him her familiar.[8] He made it to The Mist with most of the other familiars, and sailed off.[9]
