The Blushing Tankard is a large tavern in Hupperdook. It was owned by Ireena Clawmop.[1]
Building description[edit | edit source]
On the outside of the tavern is a large arch with the various spiraling ivy vines against it.[2] It has a hitching post in the front.[3]
Interior[edit | edit source]
The floor space has 20 round tables scattered around the floor. There is a stage in the far back where musicians could set up,[4] and a piano in the back was often played by Weimar, a half-elven gentlemen in a very nice doublet.[5] Around the room are barmaids tending to the costumers. There are several rope-hung chandeliers.[6]
Bar[edit | edit source]
There is a very long bar in this tavern, that wraps around the right side of the entire chamber. It has two hatches that can open up. It is tended by two individuals: Ireena Clawmop and Sid, a middle-aged male gnome with a massive mane of red hair and clean shaven.[7]
Hour of Honor[edit | edit source]
There is a weekly contest held where the previous winners of the Hour of Honor can take challenges. Whoever provides the most monetary amount to the challenge gets to go one-on-one with their team, drink to drink, until only one's left un-puking or un-passed out. The remainder gets the coin, a percentage goes to the house, and gets to take the title and a token. That token is worth a free drink to each member of that team in this bar every night.[8]
