Contents[edit | edit source]

Tal'Dorei Reborn is set two decades after the campaign of Vox Machina, in the time of the Mighty Nein's adventures (836 PD).[2][4] Its contents include four new subclasses (for a total of nine) and updates of previous subclasses, as well as over a dozen new magic items, dozens of creatures (with 18 new stat blocks), over a hundred new illustrations and maps, five backgrounds, and the identities of the members of the Tal'Dorei Council. A deluxe edition produced and sold by Beadle & Grimm's features in-world player handouts, battle maps, and a GM screen.[1][2]

Among the new subclasses are: College of Tragedy for bards, Moon domain for clerics, Circle of the Blighted for druids, and Blood Magic for wizards. The four subclasses published in Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting (Path of the Juggernaut, Blood Domain, Way of the Cobalt Soul, and Runechild) will be republished, and Oath of the Open Sea will be published as well.[3]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

When creating the cover art for Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting Reborn, Genel Jumalon drew all nine characters who represent the new subclasses from the book, but the composition sake Genel only left six of them in the final version: Alasterre de Vitrevos, Cressida Holt, Honor Kinnabari, Kel'jaia Uleoh, Nalys Ildareth, and Shirkuh Marín.[6]
