The Outerwalk is a dirt road that leads through Andovaar and continues eastward and north-eastward, passing through Hearthdell and Othanzia.[1][2]
At the crossroads near Hearthdell, there are a number of long-abandoned, partially decayed gallows and a series of graves marking the burial sites for criminals executed here.[3] Proleff believed the gallows to have been built about two centuries prior to 843 PD as an aftermath of a conflict involving "various members of the Valley Coalition as well as some brigand groups", punishing those that broke the laws of the Coalition. One of the criminals, upon their execution, was said to set a curse upon that crossroads. The villagers of Hearthdell want to forget that part of their history and avoid the gallows whenever they can.[4]
