Appearances
|
Matthew Mercer is a human bard from "Liam's Quest" (OSx07) and "Liam's Quest: Full Circle" (OSx10). He is based on the real Matthew Mercer. In his first appearance, he is an NPC played by the Dungeon Master, Liam O'Brien. In his second appearance, he is a player character played by Matthew Mercer.
Description[edit | edit source]
In his first appearance, Matthew Mercer looked like an adult with long hair and an eyepatch, holding a shotgun and a guitar.[4] In his second appearance, Matt looked exactly like a teenager version of himself, wearing glasses and a Hawaiian shirt.[5] He is a nerdy DnD player who loves Marisha.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Background[edit | edit source]
Matt Mercer shares a near identical background with the voice actor Matt Mercer. However, in one of the timelines, he also survived the apocalypse and did it alongside Marisha Ray. At some point Matt took to wearing an eyepatch, it is unknown if this is because he lost an eye or if it's a stylistic choice.[4]
"Liam's Quest" (OSx07)[edit | edit source]
Matt and Marisha drove in on a motorbike to save Taliesin Jaffe, Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey and Sam Riegel from Conan O'Brien, the small versions of Liam O'Brien and themselves. Matt and Marisha melted the Warner Brothers Water Tower and destroyed the Liam O'Briens. Matt tried to deliver a warning but then vanished.
