Liam Las Vegas is a honey badger played by Brian Wayne Foster in "Trinket's Honey Heist" (OSx18) and "Honey Heist 2: Electric Beargaloo" (OSx22).
Biography[edit | edit source]
Background[edit | edit source]
Las Vegas has a cousin named Blinket.[1]
"Trinket's Honey Heist" (OSx18)[edit | edit source]
While roaming the vicinities of Westruun in 837 PD, Liam Las Vegas met four other bears (Trinket, Cookie, Waffle, and Peddy Tuxpin). Vegas was later designated as an honorary bear, as well. He joined the bears as a driver, planning to rob the city's Hazel Festival vaul full of honey. On their way to the vault, Vegas stole a a metallic cart that had been pimped out by the de Rolo family, and soon after the bears encountered two cows armed with tommy guns-sticks. Cookie threw Vegas onto one of the cow's back, who then shredded Cow's throat. As the gang traveled through the now deserted streets, they happened across a small boy bullied by two older boys. Vegas slapped one of the bully's on the back of the head, but the boys were unperturbed, seeing just "ferret" and grabbing him. Cookie scared them away.
Stopping by the tavern with the honey vault, the bears decided to ambush the security. Vegas climbed the tree created by Peddy's magical, arriving on the second floor balcony of the nearby security building. Once he was up, he urinated on the others. Then they lay in wait for the head of security, Buford T. Justice, stationed in one of the suites, so Vegas could jump onto him. Peddy surprised the guard by slamming the door into his face, while Vegas leaped on his back aiming for the guard's throat. The guard however fought back focusing on Vegas. The commotion raised the suspicions of other guards, but Vegas tricked them saying into Buford's earpiece that Buford simply has been drinking and caused a commotion.
While others entered the tavern, Vegas ran outside looking for a suitable getaway vehicle and found an unattended horse and a cart. He also came across another guard approaching the security room, killing him before he could find the guards' corpses. Then he moved the cart to the tavern's main entrance. He killed a guard who wanted to check on Buford, writing in his blood "Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas".[2] Waiting outside, Vegas spotted a group of guards running towards the sound of the explosion quaking within the interior of the tavern and a disorientated Grog Strongjaw stumbling through what was left of the front door. Tova and the bears with loot climbed on the cart prepared by Vegas, but Trinket decided to stay behind with his family, and watched them escape.
Between one-shots[edit | edit source]
Within the seven month between the one-shots Las Vegas has been running a few side jobs as a driver under his employer, Vinnie the Pooh. One of the jobs was to drive a cart of an unidentified goods through the Parchwood Timberlands, while he was escorted by ninja bears of "Bearacuda".[3]
"Honey Heist 2: Electric Beargaloo" (OSx22)[edit | edit source]
Seven month later the bears reunited in the perimeters of Whitestone. Vegas joined them as a muscle in mission to infiltrate the Fort Lox and eluminate Hatori Bongo who seized the facility owned by "High Bear Nations" alliance of bears. Before setting off for the mission, the bears broke into a hat shop, making a small break for Vegas to squeeze through. He tossed out four hats for each of the bears, choosing himself a fez hat.
On the their way to the fort, the bears stopped by at Vinnie the Pooh's mansion to inquire more about the security of the fort. Vegas brought Cookie with him to talk to Vinnie. Vinnie lamented about Vegas' rare visits, lately, and his lack of respect to even call him "the Pooh". The Pooh asked Vegas the purpose of his unexpected and belated visit. Vegas said he came with info, bringing up his past job with the "Bearacudas" and their leader Hattori Bongo. Vinnie recognized the name, Bongo did Vinnie dirty. On top of the seizure of the honey depot, Bongo took over the underground Xhorhasian smoked salmon smuggling grounds previously controlled by the Pooh. Vegas suggested Hattori was trying to establish the "POO" in the Parchwoods (Point of Operation), which irritated Vinnie, because there can only be one Pooh. Vinnie didn't trust fully Vegas or Cookie as someone who were outside the family, but still offered them a path to Fort Lox in exchange for checking in with his smoked salmon smugglers. The bears found the smugglers north-east of the mansion, they were arguing with three polar bears. Vegas called out the bears, and eventually the gang negotiated a safe return.
Approaching the fort, Vegas sniffed out the honey pinpointing the draft hole leading inside, and a ninja bear sleepily propped up against the hole. Trinket attempted to sneak up toward the ninja with Vegas on his back, but Trinket farted and the smell alerted the ninja. Vegas leaped forward, but flied past the ninja bear. When they entered the fort, there were many boxes of honey, which Vegas promptly started consuming. Trinket interrupted him telling Vegas to not waste his time on the dregs. The gang reached a fork in the corridor, where they alerted two ninjas, who drop down on them from the ceiling. Trinket terrified one of the bear, whom Vegas then clawed through the eyes through his jaw, killing him. Vegas drew a bloody dick on the bear he killed.
When Trinket became too greedy and tried to escape the party with the "Balootonium" they retried from Hatori Bongo's corpse, Vegas caught up to him and grappled him. The bears begin shoving honey into Trinket's face, getting his friend back.
