Captain Liard is a tall, portly male elf with a red and greying chinstrap beard which shows some dwarven heritage. His posture is odd, with shoulders slumped forward forming his body into an S-shape. His hair has been slicked back with water causing ice to form at its edges, and his eyebrows are thick. A wooden pipe rests in one corner of his mouth.[3]
