Joe Manganiello is an American actor, producer, director, author, and Emmy Award winning narrator. Joe guest starred as the dragonborn oathbreaker paladin/berserker Arkhan the Cruel in "CelebriD&D with Joe Manganiello" (OSx09), "The Final Ascent" (1x113) and "Vecna, the Ascended" (1x114). He also appeared in "Talks Machina #41: The Final Ascent" (TM1x113) and "Talks Machina #60: Midnight Espionage" (TM2x12) (via FaceTime). As an actor, Joe is best known for his roles as the werewolf Alcide Herveaux on the HBO series True Blood, as Big Dick Richie in the Magic Mike films, as well as countless other films and TV series.

Joe Manganiello played TTRPG since his childhood, descovering Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set when he was around eight years old, and because his acquaintances weren't into D&D, playing the solo adventure included in the box over and over again on his own. He also DMed role-playing games such as Rifts and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangenessand. Joe owns the original watercolor painting of the co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Kevin Eastman used as a cover for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles RPG.[1]

On Talks Machina, the host Brian Wayne Foster liked to "#ThankMyGuests" with names that were either mispronounced or wordplay that sounded close to their names. When Joe Manganiello was a guest in "Talks Machina #41: The Final Ascent" (TM1x113), his nickname was "Yo, Massive Fellow".
