Biography[edit | edit source]

The Re-Slayer's Take[edit | edit source]

Between 837 and 843 PD,[fn 1] Igor was present with Heldwell when the two met Timpani Guff and an adventuring party he gathered outside of Himblewood, where the firbolg once again presented evidence of undead spirits of monsters slain by the Slayer's Take, which Heldwell once again rebuked. While he remained silent throughout the conversation, Heldwell whispered to Igor as they left to keep the meeting between the two of them and not tell Osysa about what happened.[2]

The next day, Igor followed The Re-Slayer's Take to Josgren's Hollow. At the entrance to town, Igor reminded them that Heldwell threatened to send people after them if they continued their operation, and that he intended to follow up on that. Because of the noise from the confrontation, Igor was immediately beset by will-o'-whispers, which swarmed and spirited him away into the swamp surrounding the town.[3]

The Re-Slayer's Take and Janet defeated the whispering mouther, who has been summoning the will-o'-whispers, and freed Igor, along with the Potion Congregates. Following the celebration, the party was approached by Igor, thankful for being rescued and promising to put in a good word for them to Heldwell.[4]
