Heart of Whitestone
The Heart of Whitestone is a clock tower built by Percival de Rolo on the north side of Whitestone. The clock tower was built by Percival in honor of his friends and all the trials and sacrifices they went through together. Percy considers it to be his favorite invention.[1]
Description[edit | edit source]
The Heart of Whitestone began construction shortly after 812 PD, and was completed in 831 PD, though Percy continues to make various adjustments. It is located on the north-most side of the Northern Ward, in a small neighborhood called Forlington Square, named after one of the founding families of Whitestone.[1]
The clock tower stands three stories tall,[2] and is covered in embellishments that represent famous events and people in Whitestone history, including a plaque to Vox Machina that defines them as "Heroes of the Realm".[3] The clock has movements for most holidays, and tracks the movements of the moons Catha and Ruidus, as well as the stars and "spheres". The tower is also rumored to hold a secret vault built to contain Percy's most dangerous inventions.[1]
