Description[edit | edit source]
Freedom Windsong is an older male goblin with long gray hair tied in a ponytail. His nails, both on his hands and feet, are painted pink. He wears a hemp smock depicting an embroidered peace sign and leather sandals.[2]
Biography[edit | edit source]
Before The Re-Slayer's Take[edit | edit source]
Friexa was a battle medic for Gorgonthakahn's Hoard Hive, with Poogs acting as his stab squire. After Poogs abandoned the Hoard Hive in 838 PD, Friexa was tasked to hunt him down and either capture or kill him for his betrayal. When Friexa found him, he observed Poogs baking a cupcake and giving it to his friend Timpani Guff. As Friexa watched his act of friendship and selflessness, the Curse of Strife lifted from him.
Friexa returned to the Hoard Hive and spread the story and its message of kindness and selflessness, lifting the curse from the rest of the clan. Friexa the Wrathful changed his name to Freedom Windsong, and became a leader of the community, which renamed itself to the Hug Hive.[2]
The Re-Slayer's Take[edit | edit source]
In 839 PD[3] Poogs returned to the Hug Hive with the Re-Slayer's Take, hoping that Friexa, as he still knew him, could cure Timpani of the magical disease that was afflicted upon him by The Timberblight in Shoresight Isle. Freedom greeted his old friend at his yurt and told the party about the changes to the village, happily taking Timpani in to be treated for his Mindfire Contagion. Freedom showed the Re-Slayers a statue depicting Poogs' cupcake and told them how this saved the village from the Curse of Strife, then lead them through a meditation.[2]
Shortly after, Freedom received a Sending spell from the clan's scouts, informing him that a horde of skeletons are on their way to raid the village. He asked the Re-Slayers to get help from the townspeople to create traps and buy him enough time to heal Timpani. In the end the undead army was taken down, and the goblins healed Timpani.[4]
