Feromyne is an androsphinx and guest of the Golden Scythe. As an NPC in Exandria Unlimited: Calamity, Feromyne is played by Brennan Lee Mulligan.
Description[edit | edit source]
Feromyne has, as sphinxes do, the face of a person and the body of a winged lion. He has a powerful voice.[1] Feromyne is polite, but does not take well to being classified as a beast.[2]
Biography[edit | edit source]
Background[edit | edit source]
The Golden Scythe's Sailor Marines of the Harvest Moon helped Feromyne clear his labyrinth of monsters and saved the glade in which his lair was located.[3]
Exandria Unlimited: Calamity[edit | edit source]
Feromyne approached Nydas Okiro at the Golden Scythe to clarify that he was not actually a beast, and that while he did owe the organization a boon, being in the Parade of Beasts as part of the Replenishment festivities seemed like an odd choice. Nydas convinced him to be in the parade,[4] though Feromyne did not take it particularly well.[5] It was later revealed that he did participate in the parade, and gave a speech about Avalir's might.[6]
During the attacks on Avalir, Feromyne was injured, but used his roar to kill or disable a number of k'nauthi attacking the vault of the Golden Scythe, likely saving Nydas. He asked Nydas that this be considered his boon instead, and that he be compensated for his parade appearance.[7] He also helped disable a number of devils attacking the city.[8]
Character information[edit | edit source]
Abilities[edit | edit source]
Feromyne is able to disable creatures with his roar.[7] This fits the description of the androsphinx's roar ability, in which he can roar three times a day, with escalating consequences for those who fail their saves on each roar.[9]
