Dark Bloom
The Dark Bloom was the name given to the spontaneous mass rising of Vasselheim's dead as a result of the 843 PD apogee solstice.

Following the apogee solstice, the thousands of dead buried in the catacombs below the city of Vasselheim rose as undead and attacked the city from within.[1] The bastions and various temples fought them off and killed the undead,[2] sealing the catacombs to prevent further incident.[3] The followers of the Matron of Ravens in Duskmeadow performed new funeral rites for the re-slain undead.[4] By the time Bells Hells arrived, about a month into the solstice, the undead were still being burned en masse in Duskmeadow and the fire could be smelled from outside the city walls, but the danger had seemingly passed.[5]
