Bisaft Isle is the largest of a set of four parallel islands in the Swavain Islands of the Clovis Concord. It is covered in a thick jungle, full of many trees and animals.[2] On the south of the island is the town of Bisaft Port.[3] There are some remaining ruins of the Ki'Nau people who were indigenous to these islands.[4]
Description[edit | edit source]
Bisaft's rich flora and its location make it a common port of call for sailors and tourists along the Menagerie Coast.[5] The town town of Bisaft Port sits on the southern coast, as the north is overgrown with the mangrove, nut, and fruit trees of the dense jungle, and teeming with dangerous animals.[6]
Inhabitants[edit | edit source]
- Grimalda: A tortle shaman and scroll merchant, lives a mile inland from Bisaft Port[7]
- Vandran: A human castaway, lives on one of the small islands.[8]
History[edit | edit source]
Campaign 2: The Mighty Nein[edit | edit source]
Arc 2: The Bad Guys[edit | edit source]
After the Squalleater was damaged by the Mighty Nein in a fight that got them banished from Darktow Isle, the ship limped its way towards Bisaft Isle to be repaired at Bisaft Port. The ship, which they renamed Balleater to avoid its past association as a pirate ship, docked in port for repairs that were completed while most of the party was teleported into a pocket dimension by the "Happy Fun Ball".[9] There the Mighty Nein explored the port, noting an increased Clovis Concord naval presence, and learning that Marquis Olesya Lapidus of Port Damali was calling many warships back to the coast because of recent attacks on the Dwendalian Empire by the Kryn Dynasty in the ongoing war. Jester took a tour of the bee hives at the Meadery, while Caduceus tried unsuccessfully to learn about his broken sword hilt. The party left later that day to make their way towards the temple of Uk'otoa at Gravid Archipelago.[10]
Arc 6: Weird Magic[edit | edit source]
When the Mighty Nein were making their way back to Essek Thelyss at the outpost in Eiselcross, Jester sent a message to Vandran where he revealed that his current location was possibly on one of the Bisaft Isles. However, he seemed unsure which island he was on, if this was where he was at all.[11] Following their adventure in Eiselcross, Fjord and Jester eventually managed to find Vandran living modestly and happily on one of the islands, and recruited him for some short adventures on the Nein Heroez.[12]
