Badran Esparad is the captain of the Sailor-Marines of the Harvest Moon, the merchant company of the Golden Scythe. As an NPC in Exandria Unlimited: Calamity, he is played by Brennan Lee Mulligan.

Description

Badran was affable when speaking to Nydas on the eve of the Replenishment. However, as Avalir was falling and Nydas told the Golden Scythe to lend their skyships to the people of the city, he betrayed Nydas, angry at the loss of coin and dismissive of the potential loss of life.

Biography

"Excelsior" (E3x01)

Badran visited the Golden Scythe, accompanied by a number of children from the Sorcerer's University. He pulled Nydas aside to speak about an overdue payment to the Stormbringers, which Nydas assured him would be paid shortly.

"Fire and Ruin" (E3x04)

Nydas told Badran and Alessander to ready the skyships to save the people, leaving the riches of the Golden Scythe's vaults behind. Badran waited for Nydas to turn his back, then stabbed him through with his sword. The two fought, and Nydas was the victor, killing Badran.
