Arthur Loftis is the art director at Titmouse Los Angeles animation studio, most notably working on The Legend of Vox Machina. He was featured on two watching parties for the show. Arthur formerly worked as a background designer and taught classes at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art.[1]

According to Titmouse, Arthur is a critter "working closely with the creative executives to forge an animated adaptation which honors the source material and introduces new viewers to the story." Arthur leads a team of 2D and 3D artists who are passionate about Dungeons and Dragons.[2] Before he was involved in The Legend of Vox Machina as the art director, Arthur has already watched the first campaign. His first concept for the show was the massive Sun Tree and Pike's dropping at its base like a "singular beam of light", which amazed show's executive producer Travis Willingham and the rest of the production team.[3]

Arthur was one of the Kickstarter backers for The Legend of Vox Machina.[4] Arthur's spouse, Celina Sarmiento, co-redesigned Vox Machina logo, designed the signage of Gilmore's Glorious Goods, and developed the ciphers sproused all around S2.[5][6]

Other works edit

As a visual developer Arthur has been involved in such project as Voltron: Legendary Defender, Motorcity, and Son of Zorn. formerly a Background Design and Composition teacher at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art, and 3Kicks.[2][1]

Personal life edit

Arthur Loftis married Lynn Sarmiento in February 2022.[7]

In early 2021 Arthur joined a game Dungeons & Dragons called "The Lookers at the Door" with some of his Titmouse colleagues.[8]
