An Amulet of Cursed Life is a cursed amulet that causes zombies to attack the wearer.

Properties[edit | edit source]

Once per day when the wearer of the amulet is targeted by a spell of 5th-level or lower, the spell is cancelled and absorbed into the amulet. All dead bodies within 200 feet of the amulet then rise from the dead as zombies and attack the wearer of the amulet.^[1]

Campaign 3: Bells Hells[edit | edit source]

While traveling through the ruins of Aeor, Bells Hells encountered a corpse wearing this amulet. Essek Thelyss noted that the body wasn't there the last time he was in Aeor, and Orym discerned that the corpse was moving very slowly. Against Essek's wishes, Laudna took the amulet from the corpse.^[2]

Later while the party was staying at Essek's house, she asked him to Identify the item.^[1]
