Aimee Carrero is an actress. She plays Opal in Exandria Unlimited, Deni$e Bembachula in Campaign 3, and Lilith Ferrera in "Generation Nord" (OSx49).

Critical Role Productions[edit | edit source]

Aimee Carrero was introduced into RPG world through Sam Riegel, who voice directed her on Elena of Avalor (2016).[1]

Aimee was intended as a guest player in Campaign 2. She was approached sometime in 2019 and was waiting for an opening in the narrative; her constantly changing schedule also made securing an appearance difficult.[2][3] Weeks before her guest appearance, in the early spring of 2020,[4] Aimee was about to jump into the campaign as a guest character, but the COVID-19 pandemic struck, preventing her from playing.[2][5]

She later played as Opal in all eight episodes of the Exandria Unlimited miniseries from July to August 2021.[6]

In test games held before Exandria Unlimited, Aimee played a character called Deni$e (Denise, or Denise with a dollar sign), whom Aabria immediately dubbed her "favorite". She appeared in Narrative Telephone as the storytelling character in Aimee's story.[7] She later played this character, Deni$e Bembachula, as a guest in Campaign 3.[8]

She again appeared as a player in "Generation Nord" (OSx49) as Lilith Ferrera.

Aimee voiced an Ashari girl of Pyrah in the second season of The Legend of Vox Machina.[9]

Aimee made a cameo appearance in "The Favor" (2x56) as one of celebrities who endorsed Sam Riegel when he was running for president of D&D Beyond.[10]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

Aimee is the first guest to play two different characters the same campaign, playing both Deni$e and Opal in Critical Role Campaign 3.
