Aabria Iyengar is a tabletop roleplaying game streamer, podcaster, and writer. She is the Dungeon Master of Exandria Unlimited and Exandria Unlimited: Kymal, a player in Exandria Unlimited: Calamity, and has appeared as a guest on multiple Critical Role shows.

Critical Role Productions[edit | edit source]

Aabria met members of Critical Role cast when playing with Matthew Mercer and Marisha Ray in Dropout's Pirates of Leviathan webseries.[1]

Aabria first appeared on the fourth episode of Critter Hug, where she was interviewed by Matt Mercer and Mica Burton. She then appeared as a guest in two episodes of Narrative Telephone and guest-starred in The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood as Tavima.

During the hiatus between Campaign 2 and Campaign 3, Aabria was the Game Master for the eight-part miniseries Exandria Unlimited[2] and returned for the two-part Exandria Unlimited: Kymal, which together comprised the first canonical multi-session campaign set in Exandria led by someone other than Matt. With ten episodes total, she became second to Matt for the most episodes played as Dungeon Master, overtaking Liam O'Brien's five episodes.

She later played in Exandria Unlimited: Calamity as Laerryn Coramar-Seelie and in Campaign 3 as Deanna Leimert, choosing Deanna as "someone utterly devoted to the relationship" with FRIDA and is essentially a caretaker to them.[3]

Other work[edit | edit source]

Aabria has appeared in multiple Dimension 20 productions. She played with Matt, Marisha Ray, Krystina Arielle, and Carlos Luna in a "side quest" campaign Pirates of Leviathan, which aired from September to October 2020 for six episodes, and played alongside Erika Ishii in the "side quest" The Seven, which aired in 2021.[4][5] From June to July 2021, airing concurrently with Exandria Unlimited, she was the game master for Misfits and Magic, a four episode game using the Kids on Brooms system.[6]

Alongside Krystina, she is a recurring player of Into the Mother Lands, a long-term campaign played using the Cortex Prime system.[7] Aabria is a player or DM in several livestreamed tabletop RPG series on channels like Hyper RPG, Saving Throw Show[8] and the Happy Jacks RPG Network.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Aabria's first experience playing D&D was when she was invited to her husband's board game group, and was handed a cleric character sheet.[9]
  • Aabria's Playlist for Exandria Unlimited was the first for a guest game master, and the second GM playlist overall, following Matt's playlist made in 2015.
